What I'm going to do here is put my favorite Floyd ALBUMS in order, and tell what I like about each.

9) Ummagumma - This was a great album the first time I listened to it, but I had a bad experience with it when I listened to the track with the longest name (you know, that one) when acid-ified. It haunts me to this day. Anyway, it's a masterpiece if you want to go through the roof with drugs.

8) Animals - Don't get me wrong, the lyrics are exceptional on this one, but musically, it felt sort of empty for a Pink Floyd record. I know they sound like that most of the time, it just feels more so on this one than any other.

7) Wish You Were Here - Awesome album. Although I'm a die-hard punk fan, I can't help loving Shine on You Crazy Diamonds, as long and slightly pretentious as it is. Also, Roger, Dave, Rick, and Mason plating tribute to the founder of the band most of them originally weren't in, it's just kind of ironic.

6) Atom Heart Mother - Just the whole simplicity and naivete that surrounds it. JellyTea might get pissed t me for putting it this low on the list, but THEY'RE MY OPINIONS.

5) Dark Side of The Moon - Very very philosophical lyrics, and way too musically advanced for its time. I find a new layer of depth every time I listen to it.

4) A Saucerful of Secrets - Atmosphere is really believable on this one. Great, great sonority, courtesy of Syd, and hell, Roger was great on this one. Must have for the frequent LSD user.

3) The Wall - THE STORYLINE KICKS ASS. It's really the first rock opera I heard and the first I interpreted correctly. Plus, they squeezed in a moral without getting too cheesy. Great album.

2) Meddle - I love the moodiness. The whole setting is great, and listening to the songs while looking at the album cover makes you feel peaceful, but a little disturbed. My favorite non-Syd Floyd album, this is also a must have.

1) The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn - EVERYTHING. This is a must have in your collection, everyhting about it is perfect- the trippiness, the atmosphere, Syd's undeniable sheer brilliance. 11/10
