That feedback blew my mind. Like a Thurston Moore Jr. or something. This song was great, despite being a bit simplistic, it was catchy. Great chord progression.

thanks, its just a demo, and i agree, way too simple, though i am a fan of the verse chorus verse, i dont like how it went with this song, but i will re-do it, in fact, i will start re-writing it now

It was pretty simple, as far as the instruments go, but that's what you were going for, right? I liked it, somehow it reminded me of Young Link from Ocarina of Time.

It was meant to be simple, but I always wanted to compose something complicated keeping a catchy melody. I'd like to see my sheet music full of instruments, full of notes.
I hope Rimsky's guide to orchestration help a little to do that.

I wish your stuff would be on vinyl, that would be like sweet, twinkie heaven. Obvious Frances Farmer Revenge influences, but otherwise a great song with great vocals and melody.

What I loved about this song was the bass. And I don't usually say that. Nice job dude.

"I don't really like pop music, but...."
This was really great. The intro reminded me of Smells Like Teen Spirit (Kurt Cobain always said that Teen Spirit was a pop song). The backing vocals in the chorus reminded me of Freddie Mercury, my favorite singer. This song was just pure genius.

But to the person below, me, I'd say it has more of a Buzzcocks sound to it, The Ramones wouldn't be as guitar-heavy. But the Ramones were still awesome, and so is this song. Period

not your best work, but that doesn't stop it from being awesome. the opening riff, by the way, reminds me of a song off of dookie, called "when i come around"

ok. uh, that's... uh, interesting.... cuz, y'know... the chords to the main riff in greenday's "when i come around" are G-D-Em-C so... uh,... ...well, look, man... i want to be nice because you did just give my song a 10/10... but, uh... yeah... no, no... i don't hear the similarity at all. nope, there is no resemblence between the two... at all... ever.
so, if you hear a likeness between the two, and that's a good thing, then i'm glad you hear it, because i sure can't. if it is that likeness that helps u enjoy this song, then that's fine by me.

yes, the rhythm is the same as "when i come around," it's true! i never even noticed it before... it's that half-beat change to the final chord of the prog that makes it similar... thanks for clueing me in to it!
